Our Stories - Parklands Country Club
Two of Scotland’s most accomplished entertainers are lining up to help raise thousands of pounds for the Teddy Bear Foundation.
Dean Park and Karen Logan will kick off a night of music and fun at the Parklands Country Club in Newton Mearns.
The date for the diary is Friday, September 11, with the programme lasting from 7.30pm to 1am.
Dean is one of Scotland’s most versatile acts, achieving fame as the country’s leading panto dame as well as an accomplished broadcaster and singer.
Karen achieved fame in the mid-1990’s as part of the popular groups, Dollar and Bucks Fizz.
This is the second night to be staged at Parklands Country Club this year in aid of the Teddy Bear Foundation.
In April, comedian Andy Cameron wowed a sell-out crowd with his unique line in patter.
Explained Parklands owner Michael Modlin: “Every year, we pick one organisation which will receive all of our charity money.
“Anything to do with kids is nice but I have been hugely impressed with the work of the Teddy Bear Foundation in particular.
“It’s also nice to support charities which work so close to home.”
Those attending the Dean Park / Karen Logan spectacular in September can look forward to a superb three-course dinner from the Parklands chefs, followed by coffee.
Tickets are priced at £55 or a bargain £500 for a table of 10.
They can be booked by contacting Nicky on 0141 639 9222 or by emailing email@example.com
